A riverside estate in Hampton Wick which belonged to the late Sir Donald Gosling is now on sale for £18.4 million.

The 21-bedroom property located on Lower Teddington Road was the home of millionaire car parking magnate Sir Donald until his death in 2019.

Sir Donald, a friend of the Royals who leant his yacht Leander to the Queen for her Diamond Jubilee in 2012, was known locally for his spectacular £150,000 firework displays to which neighbours were invited.

Zoopla described the listing as "an unbelievably rare chance to acquire one of the finest property estates to grace the banks of the River Thames."

The Leander Estate consists of four separate riverside homes: Leander House, Denbigh, The Elms Boathouse and Teddington Lodge. There is also a staff cottage.

Set on three acres of landscaped grounds, the estate has access to the river Thames from which you can see Kingston's Canbury Gardens and the Boaters Inn.

It is available as a whole or as individual properties. Viewings are strictly by appointment.
