Workers protested yesterday outside Hampton Court Palace about proposed job cuts.

Historic Royal Palaces, who manage a number of sites including Hampton Court, announced that due to revenue being 90% down cuts had to be made.

These cuts included 57 jobs at Hampton Court as well as nearly 90 across their other sites.

The protest was organised by the the Public and Commercial Service Union.

As well as cutting jobs Historic Royal Palaces also plan to annualise hours and remove many existing allowances according to the Union.
