'Noxious Substance' attack closes Middle Lane in Teddington

Middle Lane in Teddington was closed earlier this evening - and the police have now revealed the source of the closure.
They told us:
"Police were called shortly before 16:00hrs on Friday, 20 November to reports of an assault on Middle Lane in Teddington.
"Officers attended and found a 20-year-old man suffering facial injuries, as well being injured by noxious substance.
"He was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service and has since been discharged.
"As this early stage, there have been no arrests. Enquiries continue.
"Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101 quoting reference Cad 4732/02Nov."
