England rugby stars set up camp at Teddington's Lensbury Club
Eddie Jones' new-look England squad will moved into Teddington's Lensbury Club for a two-day training camp next week in preparation for the autumn internationals in November against Tonga, Australia and Wold Champions, South Africa.
The 45 players and the new coaching staff Richard Cockerill, Martin Gleeson and Anthony Siebold will move in on Sunday and stay until Tuesday.
The squad includes eight uncapped players but there is no room for the long-serving Vunipola brothers, Billy and Mako, Jamie George and George Ford.
"This is an exciting squad made up of experienced players and young guys who did well in the summer and earned their place again," said Jones.
"We have left out some experienced players but we're really clear that the door isn't closed to them, and we're looking forward to seeing them work hard to get back into contention.
"We have five campaigns now until the 2023 World Cup so each one counts, and this is a chance for this 45 to impress the new coaching staff."
The Premiership's current champion Harlequins, based at the Twickenham Stoop is strongly represented in the squad with SEVEN players, Alex Dombrant, Jack Kenningham, Louis Lynagh, Joe Marchant, Joe Marler, Sam Riley and Marcus Smith selected by Jones.
Teddington's Lensbury Club is a popular place for England rugby stars to come for their training camps.
Last year the England team had their winter training camp here and stayed until February 2021, when the players paid a heartwarming tribute to Captain Tom from the member's club and hotel.
The Lensbury has also hosted the British and Irish Lions.
And just last month England footballer Jack Grealish was here with his former club Aston Villa
Eddie Jones is said to enjoy dining at The King's Head on the high street and you may spot him next week if you're lucky.
