FIREFIGHTERS were called to a suspected fire at Teddington Boots on Broad Street this morning.

Smoke could be seen pouring out of the shop and into the street in a video taken by the @TeddingtonMill1 account and posted to Twitter.

The firefighters were first spotted on the scene at 9am and a witness confirmed they were still there some 20 minutes later.

Last year firefighters were also called to smoke issuing at the Broad Street shop but investigations later showed there was no fire. Read more about this here.
