Clinical Nurse Lead (Part-time)
Competitive Band 6 equivalent depending on experience

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and develop a new role within a well-established organisation.
The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership and oversight for delegated healthcare support delivered by Care Support Workers and will play a key role in maintaining high standards of governance, training, competency, safety and quality.Key Responsibilities
• Provide clinical leadership and advice across the organisation.• Support the implementation of the Clinical Governance Framework.
• Assess, train and sign off staff competency in delegated healthcare tasks.• Review and support care plans, risk assessments and healthcare documentation.
• Support medication governance and oversight arrangements.• Undertake observations, spot checks and clinical supervision activities.
• Liaise with commissioners, community nursing teams, hospitals and other healthcare professionals.• Support quality assurance, incident reviews and service improvement.
• Contribute to policy development and clinical governance activities.Essential Requirements
• Current NMC registration.• Registered Nurse qualification.
• Experience of competency assessment, delegation and/or clinical governance.• Experience working with children and/or adults with complex health needs.
• Experience supporting delegated healthcare tasks.• Experience delivering training and supervising staff.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management and clinical governance.• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable• Experience supporting unpaid carers and families.
• Community nursing experience.• Continuing Care, Learning Disability, Paediatric or End of Life experience.
• Experience of PEG feeding, medication management, oxygen therapy or similar healthcare interventions.• Experience of competency assessment and clinical supervision.
