This role is a permanent position based in the heart of fashionable Richmond and is a permanent role based fully on-site, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, with excellent opportunities for long-term development.Your new role This is a hands-on, multi-faceted role within a busy customer service department. You'll be the go-to person for managing orders, liaising with suppliers, and supporting both internal teams and external clients. From chasing delivery dates to resolving invoice queries, your day-to-day will be varied, fast-paced, and rewarding.Key responsibilities include:
- Handling inbound calls and emails
- Processing sales and purchase orders
- Sending updates and technical information to customers
- Managing pro forma invoices and chasing payments
- Coordinating with suppliers and engineers to ensure accurate parts ordering
- Generating reports and maintaining inventory records
- Advising on delivery schedules and resolving queries
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- High attention to detail and organisational prowess
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Quick to learn new systems and technologies
