Teddington Choral Society was founded in 1951 and has performed under several renowned conductors. Their repertoire covers Oratorios such as The Creation, Elijah and Handel's Messiah; plus contemporary work by Bernstein, Chilcott, McDowall and Pärt, amongst others and selections of lighter music from British folk songs to songs from theatre and film.

Throughout the last few years Teddington Choral has increased membership, moved to a larger rehearsal venue in Twickenham, appointed a new accompanist, the astounding Phil Culling and a new Musical Director, the wonderful Julian Collings.

Teddington Choral Society is affiliated to Making Music & Arts Richmond. It is known as a friendly choir and a great asset to the local arts scene.

We rehearse during term time on Monday evenings from 7.45pm to 945pm at our new venue:

St Catherine's School,

Cross Deep,

Twickenham

TW1 4QJ

TCS is currently around 120 strong; new singers are welcomed for 'taster sessions', particularly male voices, but there is a waiting list for higher voices. We perform three main concerts a year and hold workshops, plus social evenings.
