Ceramic Christmas Decorations Workshop

The Warehouse, Church Grove, Kingston upon Thames

UNTIL Saturday 13th November

In this fun 2 and 1/2 hour crafting session with professional ceramist and experienced teacher Jesse Crowther, you will be taught various techniques to create your own ceramic Christmas decorations and gift tags.

To start with, you'll be given a piece of clay on which to explore a range of printing techniques, textures and stamps. Then, when you are happy with your designs, you can use a variety of cutters to cut out your decorations.

Feel free to experiment, making as many pieces as you like, then choose your favourite 5 decorations to be fired. The clay used is white earthenware and all pieces will be taken by Jesse to be fired after the class and glazed with a shiny transparent glaze.

Your beautiful finished creations can then be picked up either from Jesse at her studio near Kingston Bridge or from us in Teddington, or for an additional fee can be packed up and posted to your home.

The workshop is suitable for both absolute beginners and those with a little ceramics experience.

Please bring an apron and we recommend wearing older clothes you don't mind getting a bit messy!

All materials and use of tools are included and we'll also give you tea, coffee and homemade cake.
