It's tender, frank, funny – and for everybody!
As part of our celebration of International Women's Day throughout March…
'A Woman's Touch' explores a personal story of womanhood in its ever-changing guises through words and music. It's tender, frank, funny, and for everybody.
Rebecca Wheatley has sung professional for nearly 40 years, from jazz dives to The Albert Hall. Her warm gusto propels her through an eclectic repertoire from Billie Holiday, Bob Dylan, Janis Ian, and pop classics with a twist. Rebecca is bluesy, ballsy and all heart
Rebecca also has an extensive acting career in Television, Radio and Theatre, playing both serious and comedic roles in the West End and National tours.
"A voice of sex, milk and honey"
– Imogen Edward Jones, Evening Standard
"Rebecca Wheatley takes a jazz standard and inhabits it completely. A hugely powerful performer with an obvious love of great songs. She'll break your heart with a show-stopping ballad, then rip your head off with filthy blues in a heartbeat. A stunning performer"
– Ian Shaw, BBC Jazz
