Santa's Enchanted Forest Grotto at Hampton Hill Theatre

Saturday 12 - Thursday 24 December 2026

Santa is coming back to Hampton Hill Theatre this Christmas, and this year he's bringing extra magic with him.

The elves have been hard at work turning Santa's grotto into an enchanted Christmas forest, glowing with twinkling lights and full of woodland wonders and festive surprises. Families can follow a magical trail deep into Santa's woodland kingdom, with something new to discover around every corner, before meeting the man himself.

A magical journey for the whole family

Each visit begins with a warm welcome from one of Santa's Forest Elves, who will guide you along the trail. Along the way you can explore the enchanted woodland, take in the festive atmosphere and capture plenty of special photos. The adventure ends in Santa's grotto, where every child meets Santa and receives a gift to take home.

It's an unhurried, memorable festive outing for children and grown-ups alike, and a lovely way to start the Christmas countdown.

Made with love by local volunteers

The grotto has been created entirely by the volunteers of Hampton Hill Theatre, bringing together the magic of theatre and the spirit of Christmas. Using imagination, creativity and a generous dose of stagecraft, the team has turned recycled and upcycled materials into an immersive festive forest for local families to enjoy.

Every visit also supports Hampton Hill Theatre and the community of volunteers who keep it running all year round. So while you're making Christmas memories with your family, you're also helping to keep live theatre thriving in Hampton Hill.
