Open to any adult who enjoys drawing – no experience required.

This course is aimed at anyone interested in drawing but might be of particular use to those who do life drawing, as it will focus on those often neglected areas – the hands and the feet. Basic anatomy will be covered as well as methods of structurally simplifying hands and feet in a variety of positions and from different angles.

We will also study their immense expressive potential and depictions in famous artworks. You will be taught how to construct and draw them quickly for a future life drawing scenario when time is limited, but you will also make longer more sculptural drawings enabling you to observe the subtleties of form and practise artistic techniques.
