Open to all adults – beginners and those with experience. This course combines traditional observational methods with innovative exercises to help analyse and interpret the figure in different ways.

Skills Developed:

• Broad range of approaches for observation
• Exploring proportion, plotting, angles, and shape
• Structuring your drawing
• Depicting gesture and expressive mark making

Materials Required: A range of pencils, mixed size willow charcoal sticks, putty rubber, A2 cartridge paper, coloured pencils, tracing paper, masking tape, bulldog clips, mid-toned paper, conte or pastel pencil
