Open to all adults – no experience required. This taster workshop is an introduction to Botanical Art techniques and materials. Flowers, foliage, and plants are observed, and step-by-step demonstrations are included with an emphasis on accurate and realistic depiction. The workshop is designed for absolute beginners.

Skills Developed:

• Drawing accurately for Botanical painting
• Observational skills to render a realistic depiction
• Tonal contrasts and textures to create a 3D effect
• Composition and design to achieve a well-balanced result
