Make unique, fold-out festive cards using vintage papers and ribbon.

Open to all adults with little or no experience, with complimentary free access to the Sparkle Art Fair at the Landmark Arts Centre.

Get festive with this playful and hands-on paper folding workshop. You'll learn how to make a unique Christmas card using the Turkish Map Fold, a sculptural paper structure that unfolds with surprise. Working with beautiful vintage materials, you'll design cards that are personal, textured and joyful to give.

 You'll learn:

• How to use the Turkish Map Fold technique in elegant way
• Choosing and preparing vintage papers, such as children's books, literary texts, wrapping paper, music papers, and other collage or tissue papers as motifs
• Assembling and embellishing with ribbon
• Finalising and packaging your bespoke card
