Hampton and Richmond were sunk by a pair of second half goals as they lost 2-0 away against Hemel Hempstead in National League South.
The game was all square at the break as neither side managed to find their rhythm during the early exchanges at Vauxhall Road.
However, two goals in the final half hour from Luke Holness and Charlee Hughes saw Hemel pull away and claim all three points.
The Beavers begin the post-Gary McCann era with a loss and have not won since a 2-0 win away against Chelmsford back in November.
Jernade Meade lined-up a free-kick from the edge of the area after ten minutes and seemed to send it straight into the top corner, only for Alan Julian to spring across his goal and tip the shot over the bar.
Just after the half hour mark as Connor Kurran-Browne received the ball on the left flank, chopped inside, drove towards the middle of the field and curled the ball towards the bottom left corner, only for Craig King to get down and push the shot wide.
Hampton started the second half quickly and put their hosts under a fair amount of pressure, the closest they came to opening the scoring was when Alfy Whittingham found space on the edge of the box and narrowly flashed his effort over the top.
Then after 63 minutes the good work the Beavers had done was undone as a long ball from the back came to Holness, he brought the ball down and looked to flick it beyond Julian, the shot was parried but straight back to Holness and he headed home at the second time of asking.
This goal stung for Hampton and swung the game back in the Tudors' favour as Kyle Ajayi decided to try his luck from range and he really caught hold of the strike, and Julian did really well to push it out for a corner.
After 79 minutes it was déjà vu as substitute Holness once again took the ball down and forced Julian into a fine save to deny him, but he once again had to push it back out and Charlee Hughes followed it in and he managed to divert the shot into the net to double the lead.
Late on Hemel had a chance for a third as they won a free-kick just outside the box out wide and it was a well-placed cross towards the far post, but Hughes couldn't quite rise high enough to win the header.
