Hampton and Richmond Borough have had three of their loan players recalled by their parent clubs. 

Two days ahead of the Beavers' FA Trophy second-round clash with Farnborough, Hampton and have seen goalkeeper Joe Walsh, Tommy Davis, and Ben Shroll all brought back to their parent clubs. 

Walsh joined Hampton in September along with fellow QPR 'keeper Matteo Salamon and has excelled himself as Gary McCann's starting goalkeeper in league games. 

McCann said on the club website: "Joe has been excellent for us and He has been a pleasure to work with. 

"His departure means there is now an opportunity for Matteo Salamon to step up and carry on his excellent performances in the FA Cup." 

The 20-year-old was brought back by the Loftus Road club and has been immediately sent back out on loan to National League outfit Dorking Wanderers. 

Part of the agreement which brought him to the Rocket Hospitality Beveree Stadium was that should an offer come in from a higher division club then he could be recalled. 

Centre-back Davis returns to Southend United having done well for the Beavers, but having fallen out of favour in recent weeks with the returns to fitness of Dean Inman and Luis Fernandez. 

McCann said: "Tommy was excellent for us and played his part in a difficult period where he always applied himself terrifically," said McCann. 

"There was an agreement on his recall as there was a game he was required for, and had been on the periphery of late with us with the return of Dean Inman and Luis Fernandez. 

"We thank him for his efforts." 

Shroll heads back to Aldershot Town having joined in August and has since played 11 times and scoring once. 

McCann said: "Ben is an excellent player with a great future ahead of him. 

"We didn't get as many games out of him as I would have liked, but we thank him for his contribution and wish him well on his return."
