Hampton and Richmond Borough have been drawn away from home against National League side Torquay United in the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round.

Following on from an emphatic 6-1 Third Qualifying Round win against Paulton on Saturday and beating Bognor Regis Town 2-0 in the previous round, Torquay are all that stands between the Beavers and the chance of drawing football league opposition.

Making the First Round will not be simple as they have to face National League opposition, but the Gulls are struggling so far this season sitting 22nd in the league and having won just twice so far.

Since becoming manager of Hampton in 2018, Gary McCann has taken the Beavers to the First Round on two occasions, both times taking on Oldham Athletic and losing by a single goal.

The game takes place on the 15th October at Plainmoor, meaning that Hampton's trip to the South coast to face Weymouth will be rescheduled.
