Bushy Park authorities were scrambling to deter people from visiting yesterday on a busy first weekend of the new lockdown.
There was huge traffic on Saturday and many motorists were forced to turn around after finding all the car parks were full.

On Cloud Pine will launch a brand new pop-up store in Bushy Park.
They will now be open from Thursday 26th November to Wednesday 23rd December.

Over 500 tickets have been sold for the first draw of the new community lottery GET LUCKY LOCAL which guarantees at least £15.000 to Good Causes in the Richmond Borough even BEFORE the first draw next Saturday, it was announced today. (Saturday November 7)
So far, thirty four Good Causes, who you can find HERE have signed up to the lottery where 50p in the £ of every ticket sold goes to local organisations and another 10p into a central fund for other causes.

Another misty morning on Friday proved an inviting but challenging task for photographers.
Teddington awoke to foggy conditions and the Met Office even issued a weather warning for fog which ran between 4.22am and 10am on Friday (November 6).

A national lockdown begins today and residents have been told to stay at home other than in a few exceptional circumstances such as going to school, going to work (if you can't work from home), shopping for essentials and seeking medical treatment.
In the spring-summer lockdown, many council services were briefly shut down, but Richmond and Wandsworth councils, who share a staffing service, have reassured residents that most key local services will continue without disruption.
