Teddington's Landmark Arts Centre has launched a new fundraising project – 'Be Kind' - which has been created by expert embroiderer, Sophie Long, graduate of The Royal School of Needlework and one of the team who worked on Kate Middleton's wedding dress.
The 'Be Kind' gold work and ribbon work embroidery kit is suitable for all abilities and contains a linen design, by Sophie, silk ribbons, gold thread, needles, wool and image of the end piece along with access to an online tutorial, which is a step-by-step guide to create the project.

A man has been fined over £1000 after his dog chased a herd of deer in Bushy Park.
The stampeding deer then caused a child to injure his rib after they collided.

The Hammersmith Bridge ferry service is unlikely to be up and running before the summer, Transport for London has announced.
TfL also said today (February 23) it is "expected" that the service will charge passengers £1.55 ride.
A badly injured swan, which attracted the attention and compassion of passers-by in Home Park, Hampton Court Palace at the weekend has had its wing amputated, Nub News can reveal today.
