Richmond upon Thames residents have raised over £80k so far for four local youth mental health charities and it is not too late to donate!

Donations have been made to the Richmond upon Thames Voluntary Fund (charity registration 1186870), a charitable trust that launched its first appeal in 2020, to collect donations from residents for specific vulnerable groups, where there is a need for additional funding for help and support.

Teddington's Landmark Arts Centre's annual Contemporary Textiles Fair will be launching online this week, instead of the traditional fair at the centre.

The event is taking place from 19-28 March, featuring an online shop selling artworks and hand-crafted textiles from over 30 exhibitors and a programme of online talks, workshops, & demos.

The remedial work to the tennis courts at Udney Park Playing Fields, dealing with years of neglect, is almost complete and set to open in two weeks time on March 29th.

Under a sub-lease from Teddington RFC, the courts are now managed by Tennis for Teddington and a whole host of activities are scheduled in the coming month.

Unpaid carers across the Richmond upon Thames could be eligible for the Coronavirus vaccine as part of the ongoing vaccination programme.

Under priority group six which is currently rolling out, unpaid carers of family members and friends who receive carers allowance are eligible for the vaccine.

Two Get Lucky Local community lottery players each won a £25 cash prize in last Saturday's Draw 17 and fourteen players won THREE free tickets for this Saturday's big draw. The two winners support Teddington Cricket Club and the 2nd Teddington Scout Group.

Other local community causes to benefit from the 1026 tickets sold in the latest draw of the Get Lucky Local lottery were Ruils, Teddington Hockey Club, Teddington Swimming Club, Hampton Hill Cricket Club, Teddington Cricket Club, Hearts of Teddlothian FC, NPL Sports Club and Hampton & Richmond Borough FC.
