Proposed changes to the planning system announced by the Government are very troubling and overly focused on unachievable housing targets, says Richmond Council.
Earlier this year the Government published two key consultations: one on proposed changes to the current planning system, and the other on a much more radical reform of the way the planning system works in England.
Teddington Station has a good enough service into London Waterloo - with around six trains every hour.
However travelling away from the capital is more tricky with the branch line to Shepperton your only real option.
It is 16 years since parkrun was founded right here on our doorstep in Bushy Park.
Since then the 5km run has become a global phenomenon.

It's London's greenest borough, the only one to span both sides of the River Thames, home to the National Archives, Kew Gardens, Hampton Court Palace, Twickenham Stadium and of course Teddington.
In short, Richmond upon Thames is seen as one of the more exclusive parts of the capital.
We are very lucky to live in such a beautiful area of London (or Middlesex but we won't get into that debate again).
Teddington itself has many scenic spots such as the weir, the harbour and the foot bridge - really anywhere around the river.

Over 20 charities and community organisations have signed up to the new Get Lucky Local good causes lottery which benefits groups chosen by the players, it was announced today.(wed)
Tickets for the online lottery, which cost £1 go on sale for the first time next Tuesday (October 6) with a weekly draw and prizes range from a £25.000 jackpot to £2000, £250, £25 and free tickets.
