From 16 – 20 September, Richmond is celebrating the council's Your Community Centre Week.

The event highlights ten independent centres in the borough, including the Elleray Centre in Teddington, that play a vital role in enhancing community life.

These centres offer a wide range of services, activities, support and facilities.

The Cambrian Centre in Richmond offers gym sessions.

 Family Hub, The White House in Hampton is home to the Hampton Youth Project.

 ETNA Community Centre in East Twickenham is the perfect spot for lunch, and Castelnau Community Centre in Barnes offers free kids' clubs.

If you have a particular interest, there is a ballet school at Greenwood Community Centre in Hampton Hill and a Photography club at Whitton Community Centre.

For the more mature, The Avenue Kew Club, Elleray Hall in Teddington, Linden Hall in Hampton, and Mortlake Community Association offer weekly groups, social clubs, and day trips.

Throughout Your Community Centre Week, various activities will be on offer to truly experience the vibrant community spirit.

As part of the festivities, you can join a tour of your local area in a Vintage Routemaster Bus.

There'll be a delicious cream tea made locally at Elleray Hall and live music included.

Centre Director ETNA Community Centre, Vanessa James, said: "This year, we are once again collaborating with the 10 community centres across the borough for Your Community Centre Week, following the success of our first event last year.

"It was fantastic to welcome new faces through our doors and showcase all the wonderful activities happening in their local community centres."
