Wine Online available at Teddington's new Good Wine shop
Award-winning London wine merchant, The Good Wine Shop, has established a fourth shop and wine bar in Teddington and although currently closed, ONLINE deliveries are available
The new shop, which joins the existing stable of shops in Kew, Chiswick and Richmond Hill, is located on Teddington High Street and will be open for business later this year after the COVID-19 crisis.
The shop opened just two days before the lockdown so the big launch party has been delayed until later in the year.
The shop will stock a diverse range of over 750 wines from around the globe, including fine and rare wines, as well as craft beers and artisan spirits.
Customers can also take advantage of a changing by-the-glass list and bar menu.
Recently voted 'Best London Wine Shop' at the prestigious Decanter Magazine Awards, the company is commended for its diverse range of exclusive wines from small and family-owned producers together with its helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff.
The shop stocks locally sourced English wines such as Fairmile Vineyard in Henley-Upon-Thames, and customers can find natural, organic and vegan-friendly wines, highlighted on shelf via an easy to follow colour-coded guide.
For wine lovers keen to further their wine knowledge, The Good Wine Shop also offers bespoke, private tasting sessions for small groups, hosted by a qualified sommelier in the shop's vaulted wine cellar, which is also available for private hire.
The Good Wine Shop owner Mark Wrigglesworth, who lives in St. Margaret's, said: "We have been looking for the right site in Teddington for years, it's a thriving town with a wonderful community and there is a great vibe among local business owners - we are delighted that the perfect opportunity has finally come along.
"We have an exciting portfolio of quality wines from lesser-known producers and family-owned wineries around the globe; wines made by real people who have great stories to tell. We're really looking forward to meeting our new Teddington customers soon."
The Good Wine Shops are closed currently but is offering an online service. Shipping UK wide with free delivery on orders over £150.
