What's on in Teddington is brought to you by the Landmark Arts Centre, The Abercorn Arms, The King's Head, The Lensbury and The Wharf.  

Welcome to your weekly What's on in Teddington.  

Every Thursday we round up all the eye-catching events occurring in your area over the weekend.

Sparkle Festive Fair, Landmark Arts Centre 

Sparkle Festive Fair is a weekend where the Landmark becomes home to a plethora of artists and makers who produce stunning, high quality art & craft gifts; including ceramics, jewellery, homewares, prints, candles, and soaps, plus small batch spirits, local craft beers, biscuits, chocolates etc… The perfect place to kick off your Christmas Shopping! Plus this year bring your little ones to visit Santa! Father Xmas is here at the following times: Friday 17 November: 4 – 6pm; Saturday and Sunday 18 and 19 November: 10am – 4pm.

Immerse yourself in the quintessential winter experience at Hampton Court Palace Ice Rink! Bundle up in warm layers, gather your friends and family, and immerse yourself in the magnificent views of this beautiful Tudor palace while gracefully gliding around our stunning outdoor rink.

Meet Father Christmas, Landmark Arts Centre 

Christmas approaches and the magic comes alive at the Landmark Arts Centre. Meet Father Christmas, make him a card, and reveal what present you wish he might bring. Then pose with Father Christmas for a souvenir selfie your family will treasure. Grownups take home something to help keep the magic going 'til Christmas morning. 

Aisha Khan & Jenny Carr Duo, The Wharf, 7pm 

With a nod to the glamour and sophistication of a bygone era and over 30 years of experience, coupled with an unrivalled passion for the music, she combines outstanding original material with powerful cover versions and performs them all with class, soul,talent and wit. Equal Parts sultry Jazz chanteuse and Rhythm and Blues belter, Aisha easily communicates heartbreak, joy and a range of emotions in between.

The Marriage of Food & Wine, The King's Head, 7:30pm 

An informal evening of fine food & wine introduced by local wine expert, Peter Lunzer. Educational with out being dogmatic is a useful strap line. This is all about shared experiences in a great location with fine wine, delicious food and great company.

Teddington Seafood Festival, The Wharf 

The long awaited return of the fabulous seafood festival is here. Think sparkling fruits de mer, fresh lobster, oysters, dressed crab and a fantastic selection of fish served in myriad ways. Live jazz and a smooth DJ from 7pm.

Felted Christmas Tree Decoration Workshop, Landmark Arts Centre, 10am-12:30 

In this workshop you will learn how to make a 3D hollow Christmas decoration, big enough to put some sweets or a small gift in, but small enough to look great on your tree. You can choose to make either a round or cone shaped decoration, using Merino wool, silk and other fibres. 

Sunday 19 November 

Sunday Quiz, The Abercorn Arms, 7:30pm 

Get your thinking caps on and sharpen your competitive streak with a pub quiz! 1st prize is a £50 tab voucher with rollover jackpot questions. Food served until 10pm. 

Ceramic Christmas Decorations and Willow Decorations Workshop, United Response on Field Lane 

Join a morning of creativity and learn how to weave an assortment of different festive willow decorations. This workshop is a perfect introduction to the traditional craft of willow basketry. Then in this fun Sunday afternoon crafting session with local ceramist and experienced teacher Jesse Crowther, you will be taught various techniques to create your own ceramic Christmas decorations and gift tags.
