Basket Making
Saturday 10 May, United Response, 10am - 1pm.

This workshop is a perfect introduction to the traditional craft of willow basketry.
Yeoman basketmaker Eleanor Morgan will teach you how to weave yourself a basket using a sold wooden base and a selection of Somerset grown willow.
All materials and tools will be supplied, along with lots of tea, coffee and homemade cake.

Landmark Tea Dance and Beginners' Class

The Landmark Tea Dance is a fun, friendly afternoon of music, dancing, and tea for everyone.
Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a complete beginner, the Landmark Tea Dance is a fun and social way to spend an afternoon. Perfect for groups or coming on your own, it's a chance to try something new or rediscover the joy of dancing. With great music, tea, and plenty of space to move, everyone's welcome to join the fun!
Led by the ever-popular Mr Wonderful, you will enjoy a mix of classic Ballroom, Latin, and Sequence dances in a relaxed and friendly setting. Start with an optional beginners' class to learn the basics or brush up on your steps, then stay for the main event. It's the perfect way to spend time with friends, meet new people, and experience the magic of our beautiful new dance floor!

Band Night at All Saints Kingston

Kingston cover band target biggest ever fundraising gig to celebrate 1100 years of Athelstan's coronation in the Royal Borough.
"All Saints Church Kingston presents: Run For Cover – Playing Tunes Fit for a King!"
Kingston's favourite cover band www.runforcoverlive.com have been operating in the area for nearly 20 years playing live floorfillers spanning disco, Britpop, rock and dance. Now they take on their biggest ever gig and fundraising challenge at All Saints Church, Kingston-upon -Thames, on Saturday 10th May. The event is promoted by All Saints, supported by Kingston's own Park Brewery and forms part of Kingston Council's Kingston 2025 programme of events to mark 1100 years since Athelstan was crowned as the first King of England in Kingston-upon-Thames.
All Saints has established itself as a premier pop music venue, thanks in part to Kingston's renowned Banquet Records. With performances from artists like Hozier and Killer Mike, it is a dynamic hub for live music, keeping the local scene thriving. This will be the first time ever that it's hosted a cover band.
