Jazz Festival, The Wharf, from 1pm
The Wharf are hosting Teddington's first Jazz Festival this weekend. The festival will celebrate the melting pot of Jazz, Soul and Blues styles featuring International Artists alongside locally based Musicians, all in the intimate riverside setting of The Wharf.
From Gypsy Jazz (La Bouche Manouche) and Latin (Andalus) to Contemporary (The Perhaps Trio), Classic Swing (Tracy Ray Trio) and classic New Orleans Rhythm and Blues and Jazz (The Cosimo Matassa Project) the festival gives the opportunity to experience warm, up close and personal performances from a broad range of artists and genres.
Camille O'Sullivan, Landmark Arts Centre, 7:15pm
Bringing her latest show, Dreamimg, Camille O'Sullivan fans, old and new, will welcome the chance to experience a very personal, pared-back and heartfelt performance, perfectly set within the exquisite surroundings of the Landmark.
Performing with long-time collaborator and dear friend Feargal Murray, the show deftly weaves an intimate evening of song and storytelling. Camille really demonstrates her mastery, interpreting artists such as Bowie, Cohen, Radiohead, and Rufus Wainwright. Boldly different to her previous shows, expect an evening filled with both joy and vulnerability. Camille's characteristic energy transforms each song with pure passion.
