The Edge of Darkness at Hampton Hill Theatre

Since her disappearance several years ago, Emma Cranwell suffers from a damaged memory. There is much she doesn't recognise or understand when brought to her new home by her parents, Max and Laura, who care for her and shower her with such treats as they can muster.

Will a spark of love kindle in the hearts of the newly hired staff, Hardy and Penny? Or is it only ever destined to be a flirtatious affair? Will an air of peace and tranquility finally settle on the Cranwell household following the visit of a stranger?

Roger McGough: Alive & Gigging

Alive & Gigging is the world premiere, a new collection from the nation's favourite poet. At that awkward age now between birth and death, Roger McGough, 85 years old and the 'Living proof of himself,' puts on a brave face and takes to the stage with a show featuring poems that are funny, sad and moving.

President of the Poetry Society, he has been honoured with a CBE for services to literature and the Freedom of the City of Liverpool. After Lily The Pink, the Aintree Iron, Scaffold, GRIMMS, The Mersey Sound with Adrian Henri & Brian Patten and his Molière adaptations with English Touring Theatre, Roger presents the long-running Poetry Please. The beat goes on.

Ham House Dog Walk

Stretch your legs and their legs this lovely Sunday morning for The Anglers' charity dog walk! In Aid of Wildlife aid is a wildlife rehabilitation and rescue centre based in Leatherhead, their aim is to help redress the balance between man & nature and to play a part in preserving our heritage for future generations to enjoy.

Starting off at The Anglers for a quick coffee and bap before commencing on our 3.5-mile circular walk from the stunning Thames lock, down to the Thames young mariners, around past Eel Pie Island, pass the historical Ham House and back to The Anglers for a well-deserved pint.

The beloved Teddington pub is asking for a small donation to go towards the Wildlife Aid cause.
