Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust will introduce new parking arrangements at Teddington Memorial Hospital (TMH) and Teddington Health and Social Care Centre (THSCC) from Monday, 5 October 2026.

The changes are aimed at improving access for patients, visitors and staff.

The trust said: "They have been developed following engagement with stakeholders and a review of how parking can be managed more effectively across the site.

"They are designed to make the best use of the limited parking available, improve accessibility and help ensure spaces are available for staff who need their vehicles to carry out their caring duties."

  • Dedicated parking spaces for staff who travel between sites or transport equipment as part of their role

Improving access for patients and supporting staff

According to Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust, the new arrangements are intended to:

  • Improve access for patients and visitors attending appointments and services
  • Increase the availability of accessible parking
  • Reduce congestion at the front of the site
  • Better support staff whose roles require travel between locations or the transportation of equipment

A spokesperson for Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust said: "We know that parking is an important issue for our patients, visitors and staff.

"These changes will help us make better use of the limited parking available across the Teddington site, improve accessibility for those who need it most, and ensure staff who provide care in the community have access to the parking they need to carry out their roles effectively."

The Trust said it will continue to communicate with staff, patients, visitors, local residents and other stakeholders over the coming months to ensure everyone is aware of the new arrangements before they are introduced.
