Weekly reading sessions to begin at Teddington Library this Friday
Shared summer reading sessions are set to take place in the garden of Teddington Library every Friday, Richmond Council has announced.
The summer reading scheme will begin at Teddington Library, Waldegrave Road, this Friday (July 7) at 4pm and will run until August 25.
Each hour-long session will allow residents to discover new stories in the library's peaceful garden, with biscuits and cold drinks also on offer.
"This is an opportunity to enjoy the fresh air, conversation and share extracts from books and poems," a council spokesperson said.
"Everyone is welcome to attend and there is no expectation to read aloud or speak."
All sessions are free and there is no need to book in advance.
