Remembrance Sunday has been a little different this year thanks to the latest national lockdown.

But that doesn't mean we shouldn't remember those who gave their lives to protect ours.

Vicar of St Mary with St Alban in Teddington, Joe Moffatt, has this year led a special online service.

You can check out the video of the service above.

Here's what he told us about this service:

"Every year, the Remembrance Day Service in Teddington is held on the nearest Sunday to Nov 11th outside the Teddington Memorial Hospital, following a parade up the High Street. In recent years this has attracted a crowd of over 800 people.

"The service is organised by the Royal British Legion and is led by myself in my role as Vicar of St Mary with St Alban Teddington and Chaplain to the RBL Teddington Branch, alongside other clergy in the town.

"This year we've had to cancel the parade and service due to Covid19. But we are able to offer a special online service which we hope people across Teddington will watch.

"The filming for this service was done last Sunday, November 1st, with representatives from local organisations, and includes the Last Post, the Two Minute Silence and the Wreath Laying, as well as music from local choirs and some reflections on WW2 from myself."

Remembrance Day itself, and the 102nd anniversary of the end of World War One takes place this Wednesday.
