Savills, the well-established and upmarket estate agent has moved into Teddington's High Street becoming the SEVENTH estate agent in a 200 metre stretch of road and its tenth branch in south west London.

Their decision to move into the area follows hot on the heels of Teddington being voted one of the best places to live in London in a recent Sunday Times survey.

According to the company "the new office represents a key addition to the firm's local network and bridges the gap between its Richmond, Wimbledon and Esher offices to ensure that clients are expertly assisted throughout the region."

Their team will cover all market sectors in Teddington from first-time buyer flats through to substantial family homes. In addition, both the sales and lettings departments will extend the office reach across nearby residential areas including Hampton, Hampton Wick, Strawberry Hill and Twickenham.

Robin Chatwin, head of south west London residential sales told Teddington Nub News: "Teddington is one of south west London's most popular residential neighbourhoods and is a natural fit for bolstering our residential business in the capital.

"Over the last few years, the region has performed particularly strongly reflecting a pandemic-fuelled desire for more space, a sense of community, proximity to parks and commons and good connectivity. Indeed, prime southwest London has outperformed all other parts of prime London over the past 12 months, with average price growth of 6.2%.

"We already have a strong track record of selling homes in Teddington and now with a new base in the village, our teams will be able to provide clients with the best in class service and local knowledge."

Jane Cronwright-Brown, UK head of residential lettings added: "While we have handled the sale and rental of Teddington properties for many years, we have been keen to establish a local presence for some time. Teddington was recently included in The Sunday Times Best Places to Live in London 2022 guide and we are delighted to have opened a new office in the heart of the village from which we can fully service the property needs of local buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants.

"As a Teddington resident myself, along with the rest of the team I am looking forward to meeting and supporting our new neighbours and becoming an active part of the local community together."
