Nichols is an independent Jewellers' which opened in Teddington High Street in July 2003.

Specialising in GIA Certificated Diamonds and high quality gem stones, hand-made and high quality jewellery, the shop stocks a diverse range of traditional and modern pieces in platinum, palladium, gold and silver, each piece either hand made or hand-selected.

Laurence Nichols, the owner, is a highly experienced and talented goldsmith and has worked in the industry for over 35 years.

He started his apprenticeship in Plymouth before working in Hatton Garden for a number of years. He then worked freelance in and around the Richmond and Kingston area.

With Laurence's experience comes a vast knowledge of jewellery, having worked in all aspects of the trade.

Paul Street has been with Laurence since the start of Nichols Goldsmiths.

Paul has helped manage the shop and has gained superb all round knowledge in the jewellery industry and also is hands on with the design process from customer to workbench.

From the colour and clarity of diamonds, to the origin of precious stones to restoring antique pieces, this knowledge and experience is essential in ensuring customers get the best possible advice.

The staff at Nichols take pride in the service the shop offers and customers return again and again.

Nichols has a workshop on site and carries out all kinds of repairs and restorations, from re-sizing a ring to restoring fine antique jewellery.
