This week we talk to Lisa Harris, the Founder of AMULETTE, the jeweller's shop in Park Road, Teddington (The shop's name comes from the word amulet which is a small piece of jewellery which someone wears because they believe it will protect them from danger or evil)

Lisa says: "Amulette moved to 33 Park Road Teddington, on the site of one of TW11's most cherished stores, Moonstone in March 2019.

"The little chocolate box shop has given me the opportunity to showcase our jewellery collections and get creative with the boutique window display.

"The last year has been a wonderful experience, with the brilliant support of local people in Teddington.

"Having worked solely for many years and predominately selling through our website the boutique has become a little hub for individuals needed a sparkle fix.

"I create all original Amulette components by hand in sterling silver, allowing them to achieve our signature detail.

"When our jewellery goes into production, it is still hand-finished by skilled craftspeople in our London workshop.

"As a jewellery brand inspired by nature, we are committed to making sure our work has little impact on the environment and its people. We use recycled materials as much as possible including, gold, silver, paper and plastics.

"We also use recyclable material in our shop displays!

"Having sadly closed our doors (I like to call it paused not closed!) we have been busy offering home deliveries to local people which has proved very popular. In fact, I'm crazy, mad busy trying to keep up!
