In Teddington we are lucky to have Bushy Park on our doorstep and Richmond Park close by too.
Now the charity that runs these great green spaces - Royal Parks - needs your help.
The charity are looking for two trustees to its board of governors.
Applications from candidates for whom this is their first non-executive board appointment are encouraged.
Royal Parks' board meets between four and six times a year. There are normally around four Audit and Risk Committee meetings and at least one board strategy day each year. Trustees are unpaid but their expenses will be covered.
The charity is responsible for eight listed Royal Parks: Richmond, Bushy, Greenwich, Hyde, St James's, Kensington Gardens, The Regent's Park & Primrose Hill and The Green Park.
Together these cover more than 5,000 acres of some of the finest parkland in London.
The deadline to apply is February 8.
Appointments will be made by Oliver Dowden, Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.
