Turkish delight in Teddington

By Stuart Higgins 23rd May 2022

Teddington is to get its first Turkish restaurant, Teddington Nub News can reveal today.

The new eaterie called Bade is on the site of the former Spanish restaurant, La Pesca, on the High Street almost opposite the King's Head pub and sits between the Fallow Deer café and One One Four.

A giant sign was placed in the window this week saying 'OPENING SOON, bade Turkish Restaurant'.

Teddington is already blessed with a diverse range of restaurants ranging from Chinese, to Indian, Japanese, Lebanese and Italian.

Meanwhile, the café called Organically Food Spot on the opposite site of the road has closed down and a repossession notice from Snellers estate agents has been placed on the window.

The venue has not reopened since the end of the pandemic.
