LOCAL Liberal Democrat MP Munira Wilson is looking for a Parliamentary Assistant.

She tells Nub News: "I'm hiring! If you're driven, passionate about policy and politics and want to ensure Twickenham residents' concerns are championed in Parliament, have a look and apply to work for me."

The successful candidate will support Munira in her day to day parliamentary work to ensure the area's interests are championed in Westminster through parliamentary questions. Ministerial letters and other mechanisms.

The job details for the permanent post say: "Munira Wilson MP is looking for a highly motivated individual, with bags of initiative and intellectual curiosity to become her full time Parliamentary Assistant, based in her Westminster office.

"You must be organised, capable of dealing with multiple competing priorities and able to work well as part of a disparate wider team. Outstanding written communication skills and attention to detail are an absolute must, as is the ability and willingness to learn quickly and work under pressure.

"Knowledge of parliamentary processes and digital communications experience would be helpful.
