Teddington has a rich history and here at Nub News we love to celebrate it.

Whether it is The Beatles arriving at Teddington Studio, the Monty Python Fish-Slapping sketch or our link with the Yorkshire Ripper we have plenty of history here.

So we are very excited for the launch of the Teddington History Trail this weekend.

The trail launches on Saturday and features a number of posters in shops, pubs and restaurants.

These posters will detail what the trader would've been like in the past.

The posters will also be in shops that give you a 20% discount on Ken Howe's new book.

Ken is a local historian and has written a new book called 'A collection of history articles Teddington TW11'.

The book is a series of articles about the Teddington area.

The trail has been organised by Teddington Together, which is a committee made up of volunteers from local businesses and residents who share their skills to develop and expand the local community's lifestyle and shopping experience within the town.

You can purchase the book HERE
