Pubs across Teddington have been reopening over the past few weeks - and now The Teddington Arms has joined that list.

The popular Teddington pub, located on the high street, reopened its doors on Monday and owner Damien talked me through the changes the pub have had to make.

He said: " We've had to change to table service but I've enjoyed becoming more of a gastro pub.

"We've also had to reduce capacity to about a third but we still have over 100 seats.

"It's just wonderful to get back to work and see the regulars.

"I've particularly missed my four legged regulars."

Despite the lockdown and lack of dogs, Damien is optimistic about the future of the business.

"We've been really nice and busy - but also manageable.

"The pub is now a lot more service focused.

"We've actually hired more staff following lockdown due to the need for more servers.

"There's a lot of really talented people in Teddington so it's great to have them on board."
