After a rough few games for Harlequin's, the Twickenham team got back on track over the weekend.

Quins hosted Northampton Saints and ran out 30-17 winners at The Stoop.

This win was especially important as Quins are now just three points behind 6th placed Northampton, meaning a top half finish looks a lot more likely.

Quins next play Bath at The Stoop in what will be an important trial event for fans as a number will be allowed back into the stadium for the first time.

We will have a full preview for this fixture later in the week.

Cricket

We keep banging on about The Teddington Treble here at Nub News, but it took another step towards happening this weekend in the Middlesex County Cricket League.

The second and third teams now both find themselves at least 10 points clear in their respective divisions after impressive weekend victories.

The second team defeated Stanmore by two wickets while the thirds thrashed MTSCC by a hefty 10 wickets.

The firsts however have much more of a fight on their hands as they still trail Ealing despite a comprehensive win against Twickenham this weekend.

The good news is Teddington play Ealing this weekend so look for our preview of that top fixture.
