It has been very sad to see our hospitality industry shut down thanks to COVID-19 restrictions in Tier Three.

However popular high street pub The King's Head is keeping their kitchen open.

Here is some more information:

"We now find ourselves in Tier 3 so sadly can't welcome you into our gloriously Christmassy pub until further notice, however…our wonderful food IS still here for you via our Voilà at Home click, collect and create service!

"Order your favourite dishes online then collect between Thursday and Sunday for restaurant quality dining at home.

"NEW to our repertoire is the Sunday Roast priced at only 12.50 per person - crunchy roasties, fluffy Yorkshires, all your favourite veg, creamy cauliflower cheese, top quality meat cooked to perfection and gorgeous gravy….no hassle and no washing up!

"The roasts can be collected during either of our collection slots on a Saturday or Sunday morning for a full-on Sunday feast of Aubrey Allen prime roast beef for 2, 4 or 6 to enjoy at home.

"Pick it up, pop it in the fridge until half an hour before you want to eat then follow the simplest instructions to re-heat to perfection and…Voilà! A magnificent stress-free Sunday lunch!

"In addition, our Christmas free range roast turkey with all the trimmings is also available from 20th - 28th December - ready in a flash and hassle free. (Whilst we are closed, pick up times are Thursday - Sunday 11-1pm & 4-6pm. Please note there is no pick up on 25th or 26th).
