One of our GET LUCKY LOCAL players is celebrating today after winning our best prize so far, a whopping £250 Xmas surprise in the fourth draw of the Richmond Borough community lottery.

The big winner has nominated Hampton Hill Cricket Club as their beneficiary while another winner, who supports Hampton and Richmond Borough Youth FC won a £25 cash prize.

Nineteen players representing a wide range of community Good Causes won THREE free tickets for next week's draw which includes the chance to win a £150 M & S Christmas hamper, two six-bottle cases of champagne as well as Bushy Park-themed Christmas cards and calendars.

A GET LUCKY LOCAL spokesperson said: "It's great to see so many winners again this week especially with one big cash prize of £250 which will be a very welcome surprise just before Christmas.

"It's no coincidence that the Good Causes which are most active in urging their supporters and members to play the lottery are the ones which are benefiting the most. Good Causes should be receiving their first cheques this coming week."

This week's winners represented SporTedd, Hampton Hill Cricket Club, Aurora Metro Arts and Media, Richmond Carers Centre, Teddington Cricket Club, Hampton and Richmond Borough Youth FC, Hearts of Teddlothian, Friends of Strathmore School, Ruils, Crossroads Care, NPL Sports Club, Teddington Hockey Club, United Response.

The lottery is already raising over £31.000 a year for the FORTY FOUR Good Causes which have signed up so far and over 1000 tickets have been bought.
