July has been a bit of a wash out across the country however summer is making a comeback to finish off the month.

After weeks of fairly mediocre temperatures and a lot more rain than you would expect at this time of year Thursday and Friday are set to be scorching days.

On Thursday highs of 28 degrees are predicted and this temperature will be beaten on Friday as it could get as hot as 33 degree Celsius.

Teddington could well be one of the hottest places in the whole country as temperatures break 30 degrees for the first time this month on what will be the last day of July.

Had we not broken 30 degrees this month it would have been the first July since 2011 not to reach the milestone.

UV will of course be high during this period so make sure you protect yourself before stepping into the sun.

Friday may even be the hottest day of the year so far as it could top the 32.6 degrees temperature recorded at Heathrow Airport on June 24th.
