Teenage boy stabbed in Chessington

Police were called to reports of a stabbing on Bridge Road after 7pm last night (Thursday, 23 October).

The London ambulance service treated a 16-year-old boy at the scene before taking him to hospital.

It is believed that his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.

Police tape was put up around Bridge Road and North Parade on Thursday night, but the roads have now reopened.

A Met Police spokesperson told Kingston Nub News:" On Thursday, 23 October at 19:28hrs police were called to reports of a stabbing on Bridge Road, Chessington.

"Officers attended the scene and it was quickly established that the incident occurred nearby on Osbourne Way.

"The London Ambulance Service treated a 16-year-old boy before taking him to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

"No arrests have been made at this stage. An investigation is underway and anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 6653/23OCT25."
