Ted's Market is returning to the King's Head's car park this Saturday (26 April) from its usual operating hours of 10am – 2pm.

And starting this weekend, the market will be introducing its new monthly trader, Daise's Kitchen.

Run by Daise and her husband, the new trader will be selling a variety of Brazilian and Portuguese foods, including various empanadas (chicken, beef and chorizo, ham, and cheese), pastéis de nata (custard tarts), and other savouries.

Other traders at this week's market include:

  • Pick's Organic Farm – selling organic meat and breakfast rolls.
  • Ralph-s – which was recently featured in the Times with Ralph's savoury baked goodies, nuts, biscuits, and tapenades.
  • The French Compte – selling cheeses and charcuterie.
  • Wild Country Organics- selling seasonal organic fruit and veg.
  • Lorna's Indian Kitchen - selling "award-winning" curries and samosas (pre-order available).
  • Swiss Bread Bakery – offering 16 different organic, fresh pastries, and cakes using traditional methods of baking.
  • Kokoh Chocolate - selling handmade tonka bean truffles and chocolate bars.
  • The Olive Tree - selling array of olives and sundried tomatoes.
  • Collana Verde Farm – selling organic olive oil and a variety of balsamic vinegars.
  • Green Fox Bakery – selling "delicious" brownies, brookies, and tray bakes.
