Ted’s Market to return next weekend with new traders and timetable coming next month

Ted's Market is returning to The King's Head pub's car park from 10am - 2pm next Saturday, 29 March with its usual traders pitching up their stalls, including:

  • Sanctuary Coffee, which sells "transparently traded and sustainably produced coffee with tasting notes in multiple flavors".
  • Pick's Organic Farm, which offers organic vegetables, meat, poultry, and recipes for healthy options.
  • The French Comté, which will have "delicious" French cheese, truffles, and Rillettes.
  • Wild Country Organics, which provides fresh produce from its organic farm in Abington, Cambridgeshire.
  • Swiss Bread, which offers a variety of breads, pastries, sandwiches, and quiches using authentic Swiss recipes.
  • Ieva's Yummy Soups, which sells homemade soups including Chicken, Leek and Potato, Butternut Squash Roasted Pepper and Tomato, Lentil and Beetroot and Meatball, Pea & Ham, Broccoli & Stilton, Mushroom, Yellow Lentil, and Carrot & Coriander.
  • Thee Olive Tree, which offers the "finest" variety of olives from Greece, Morocco, Tunisia, Italy and Spain, making it a specialist in all things Mediterranean.

Starting on Saturday, 12 April, the market will also begin its new rota of hosting market days on the second Saturday of the month as well as the fourth.

On this day, Ted's Market will welcome five new traders, including:

  • Henderson's Fishmongers, which invites market-goers to choose from its variety of fresh fish from "sustainable sources".
  • Culynart, which offers grazing boards, sharing platters and Spanish Tapas, and a variety of hampers.
  • Bakewicks, which sells New York-style black and white cookies, including Kinder & White Chocolate Chip, cakes, and brownies.
  • Big Mum's Samosas, which sells handmade samosas in a variety of flavours, including  Original Veg, Chicken Tikka, The Cheeseburger, Chilli Paneer, Slow Cooked Lamb, Apple Pie Bites, and Choco Bites as well as a range of chutneys and sauces.
  • Loch and Stock, which will have Justin Lennox Bradley's award-winning smoked salmon and bacon available. London Smoke House produces award-winning smoked salmon and smoked bacon.

On Saturday, 26 April, Ted's Market will be introducing another new trader, Daise's Kitchen, which sells Brazilian and Portuguese foods, including pasties, patties, cakes, and groceries all of Portuguese or Brazilian origin.
