Teddington’s nuts for coffee!

By Stuart Higgins 2nd Dec 2022

Teddington's got another coffee shop on the High Street!

If you like coffee or need a haircut, Teddington's the place for you.

The new coffee shop is called LOCAL HERO and opened two days ago on the site of the upmarket interior design shop, Jenny Blanc.

In a trial run Nub News can confirm that the coffee is excellent. It also serves pastries, smoothies and sandwiches.

Other coffee outlets in the High Street include the Coffee Mill, the Fallow Deer, Girasole, Starbucks, Parsnips and Islay.

Asked whether they thought there was room for another coffee shop in Teddington, one member of staff told Nub News confidently: "We are aware how competitive the coffee market is in Teddington but there is a massive demand. We've only been open two days and we're doing a roaring trade!"

Local Hero, which also has branches in Kingston and Fulham, plans to be open seven days a week, opening at 8am on weekdays and 8.30am at weekends.
