Teddington's new Japanese restaurant

TEDDINGTON'S newest restaurant, a Japanese, called OBON, will open for business at lunchtime tomorrow (Friday) Nub News can exclusively reveal.

Opening time will be 12pm until 2.30pm with two sittings available at 12pm to 1.15pm and 1.15pm until 2.30pm and dinner will be available from 5pm with last sitting at 08.20pm.

The restaurant, which has a sister eaterie in Kingston, is set between The Good Wine shop and Chase Buchanan Estate Agents.

Today last-minute preparations were being made to the kitchen before opening tomorrow. The premises had previously been the French Tarte Café.

The restaurant, which will specialise in Sushi & Grill, is licensed to sell alcohol and will offer a wide range of drinks and be able to accommodate 24 covers.

A sample set menu, provided to Teddington Nub News, offers a choice of starters, assorted tempura, a skewer set and a grill for £30 per person.
