Teddington Theatre Club (TTC) is staging its production of Robin Hood next month.

The production, which has been written and directed by TTC's very own Josh Clarke, will run on the main stage at Hampton Hill Theatre from Saturday, 28 November to Sunday, 6 December.

The play's description says: "Grab your bow and arrow and prepare for a riotous romp through Sherwood Forest as Robin Hood leaps onto the Hampton Hill stage in a brand‑new, laugh‑out‑loud pantomime adventure.

"The wicked Sheriff is squeezing every last penny from the poor townsfolk, but fear not—Robin Hood and his delightfully hopeless band of Merry Men are on a mission to steal back the gold, save the day, and maybe even stumble into a little romance along the way.

"Expect heroic mishaps, villainous cackles, and more "He's behind you!" moments than you can count.

"Packed with toe‑tapping musical numbers, gloriously groan‑worthy puns, cheeky jokes for the grown‑ups, and audience participation from start to finish, this is a festive family treat bursting with heart, humour, and high‑energy fun.

"Whether you're cheering for Robin, booing the Sheriff, or secretly rooting for the outlaws who can't quite get anything right, this pantomime promises big laughs, big characters, and big entertainment for all ages.

"Join us in Sherwood Forest for a magical, musical, mischievous adventure."

Speaking about writing and directing the play, Clarke told Nub News: "I love panto! It's usually somebody's first experience of going to the theatre to see a show, so I feel a duty to make it as magical and memorable as possible.

"Panto is a massive undertaking - having directed Jack and the Beanstalk two years ago with TTC, I vowed not to do it again for a while as it takes over every aspect of your life.

Fast forward two years and I'm directing again, and I thought I'd write it this year too. I'm a glutton for punishment!

"I have an incredibly talented and hard working cast and we can't wait to share what we've created with the community.

"Robin Hood is Coming...!"

The production's cast list includes Zoe Arden as Ensemble, Georgina Barnwell as Robin Hood, Meaghan Baxter as Emm 'a' Dale, Molly Cole as Maid Marian, Matt Dennis as Sheriff of Hampton Hill, and Matthew Down as Silly Willy Scarlett.

Also among the cast list are Emily Fowler, Tracey Frankson, Mariana Franzese, Al Holden, Millie Hunter, Kate Isaacs, Sasha Kydd, Chatelle Lambert and Natalie Lawson as Ensemble, Nathan Hall as Alan 'a' Dale, David Hannigan as Little John, Robyn Marriott as Guy, Stuart McEwan as Friar the Tuck, Lara Parker as Gal, and Anna Strain as Shae of Sherwood.

The production will be running at 2pm and 6.30pm on Saturday 28 and Sunday, 29 November as well as Saturday, 5 December, at 7.30pm from Tuesday 1 to Friday, 4 December, and at 2pm on Sunday, 6 December.

There will also be a relaxed performance at 2pm on Sunday, 29 November.

This includes technical changes (such as adjustments to light and sound effects) with sensory sensitivities and will allow for noise and movement in the auditorium, a chill-out space for anyone who may need time away from the performance, and re-entry when needed.

Standard tickets for the production cost £20 whereas they cost £15 for children and students.

TTC Members can book up to six tickets at £16 for adults and £12 for children.

Tickets can be bought now here.
