Teddington Theatre Club to host readings and auditions for ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time’

Teddington Theatre Club (TTC) is hosting a reading for its upcoming production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time at Hampton Hill Theatre this Sunday, 9 March from 3pm – 5pm.
At the reading, professional actors and industry newcomers will hear the script read aloud while they make new friends and share their love for theatre.
The event description reads: "Play readings are not just for prospective actors, but for anyone who would like to join in reading the play – or just listen to it being read.
"The readings are informal social occasions when the bar is open - enjoy meeting new people and welcoming them to our club.
"There is no obligation to audition for the play or even to read – and there's no need to book, just turn up!"
For aspiring actors, auditions for the show will be held on Sunday, 16 March, from 4pm, also at Hampton Hill Theatre.
Performances for the show, directed by Nigel Cole, will run the theatre from Monday, 23 June – Saturday, 28 June.
Christopher Boone's stage adaptation of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is based on Mark Haddon's bestselling novel of the same name.
Simon Stephens' critically acclaimed adaptation won seven Olivier Awards including Best New Play when it premiered at the National Theatre and five Tony Awards on Broadway.
The show's synopsis reads: "A teenage boy embarks on a quest to solve the mystery of a neighbour's dead dog.
"What follows is an extraordinary adventure that's a moving, heartwarming, and thought-provoking story showing the beauty of seeing the world from a different perspective."
